CANVAS already delivers a wide, three-dimensional cinematic soundstage from the front. For an even more immersive experience,
it can now be expanded with dedicated Dolby Surround and Dolby Atmos channels.

CANVAS remains the complete front of the system, while active speakers add surround and height channels for a fuller home cinema experience without a traditional multi-speaker setup.

CANVAS was created to rethink what high-performance TV sound could be. The same philosophy now extends to surround.

Together with German electronics specialist Almando and Danish loudspeaker manufacturer System Audio, CANVAS has developed a solution that combines BACCH 3D at the front with dedicated surround and height channels throughout the room.

The Almando InMedio acts as the intelligence behind the system, decoding and distributing the surround signal, while specially adapted System Audio Silverback speakers become a natural extension of CANVAS - both acoustically and visually.

The result is true HiFi surround designed as one coherent experience.

DESIGNED AS ONE
The new surround speakers are created to live in the same interior design universe as CANVAS.

Selected System Audio Silverback models are visually adapted with the same Kvadrat textiles, colours and wood finishes known from CANVAS, allowing front, rear and surround speakers to appear as one unified system rather than a collection of separate components.
DOLBY ATMOS. UP TO 7.1.4.
At the centre of the surround expansion is the Almando InMedio, supporting Dolby Atmos configurations up to 7.1.4.

It handles signal management automatically and supports both wired connections and wireless WiSA HT, making it possible to create anything from a simple surround setup to a complete multi-channel home cinema.

BACCH 3D works fundamentally differently from conventional virtual surround.

By controlling the acoustic interaction between the left and right ears, CANVAS creates a significantly wider and more precise three-dimensional soundstage from the front — without requiring separate left, centre and right speakers around the TV.

Dedicated surround speakers then add discrete sound from the sides, rear and above the listener.

Instead of replacing BACCH 3D, surround expands what CANVAS already does.

CANVAS can remain a beautifully simple standalone HiFi and TV solution. And when you want to go further, the system can grow with dedicated surround and Dolby Atmos channels.

The platform is intentionally open. Compatible active speakers can be connected by cable or wirelessly through WiSA HT, allowing you to decide how far you want to take your system.
