THE HIFI FRAME

Through the following 6 steps, you’ll attach The HiFi Frame securely to your TV and CANVAS speaker, ensuring a precise and seamless installation.

If you do not wish to use the floor-standing CANVAS setup, please skip Step 1.

Step 1 of 6

Installing Supplied Feet

Carefully turn the CANVAS unit to access the bottom side.

If your CANVAS is already equipped with feet, unscrew and remove the original feet.

Identify the mounting holes

You will see two holes on the underside:

One threaded hole (inner position)
One non-threaded hole (outer position)

Prepare the new feet by attaching the two supplied rings (feet brackets) onto each foot.

Screw the new feet into the inner threaded hole.

Ensure they are securely fastened, but do not overtighten.

Carefully turn the CANVAS unit to its original position.

Step 2 of 6

Determining spacer size

Begin by measuring the width of your TV in millimetres (TW). Subtract this measurement from the inner width of the frame (FW) and divide the result by two. This calculation determines the distance between the TV and the frame and helps you select the correct spacer size.

Frame inner width: (FW)

55": 1239 mm.
65": 1458 mm.
75": 1687 mm.
77": 1724 mm.
83": 1857 mm.
85": 1906 mm.

In most cases, the same spacer size can be used for both the vertical profiles and the top horizontal profile. Before securing the spacer, we recommend test-fitting it between the top frame and the TV while the adhesive backing is still covered.

If needed, two spacers may be combined (e.g. 2 mm. + 5 mm. to reach 7 mm.) to achieve the optimal fit. Position spacers near each corner, approximately 40-60 mm. from the edge.

Avoid placing spacers more than 60 mm. from the corners, as this may cause the frame to bend outward.

Preparing the vertical profiles

Place a soft blanket or carpet on the floor to protect the frame and floor from scratches during assembly.

Align the two V-shaped brackets against each other.

Ensure that “Face B” on one bracket aligns with “B Face” on the other.

Position the two V-shaped brackets against each other. This assembly creates a defined spacing that protects the CANVAS from direct contact.

With the correct spacers selected, mount the corner brackets to the top and bottom of both vertical frame profiles. Ensure that all brackets are oriented correctly and securely fastened before proceeding.

Step 3 of 5

Assembling the frame

Assemble the top profile together with the side profiles. At this stage, do not attach the bottom profile and avoid fully tightening the corner brackets, as the frame needs to remain slightly adjustable for alignment.

Carefully slide the partially assembled frame down over the TV, allowing it to rest securely on the TV for support.

Final alignment

After assembling the main frame, slide the left vertical profile into both the top and bottom horizontal profiles and tighten the screws.

To achieve precise alignment, slightly loosen one corner at a time and adjust as needed until the frame sits evenly and symmetrically.

Step 6 of 6

Securing the frame

To ensure the frame sits flush against the TV and CANVAS speaker, install the tension clips on the rear of the frame. Insert one end of each clip between the frame and the back of the TV, then press and slide the opposite end into position, with both ends facing the frame.

Depending on the TV and frame size, use 3 to 4 clips on each side profile and along the top profile.

The bottom profile should remain free of clips.
